To adapt 'mobile-based' business registration to improve RP’s Global Ranking

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon M. Lopez said that the Philippines could improve its global ranking for ease of doing business by 2022 through the help of mobile-based automation of the business registration process.

Ranking 99th from the last World Bank-International Finance Corporation Doing Business, Philippines set a target of 22nd global ranking by 2022 through this business registration program.

Mr. Lopez said that his department targets to 'automate everything,' and making business registration very easy even for millennials. With a vision of making this 'mobile-enabled' system of business registration, the DTI Secretary said that Top 20 would be achievable.
